S I G N OF THE T I M E S
I don’t think we’re gonna make it out of this on alive People running in the streets just running wild I told my baby brother I think it’s just a sign of the times.. and he said “We’re gonna do what we gotta do, we’re gonna do what do to survive” he said “ Oh no, there’s never been a time like now” Now I know better than believing everything I read, but the lady whispering through my screen door is telling me “turn off the tele, open the door.. child what’d you think them arms were for” She said “put your hands together and echo every word that I am breathing out” she said “I think I know the way out” You know I like how that sounded… so I put my hands together and echoed every word that she was breathing out and I think I saw the way out.. I knew right then that these two feet belong on the ground Oh no! There’s never been a time like now!
